Progress and Partnerships!
Well, Since August 22, I have logged another 80,000 steps toward my goal of running One Million steps for the Journey of Hope and the One in a Million Campaign! That brings my total number of steps run to 666,000 leaving only 334,000 more to go! One million steps run is the equivalent of 500 miles! I have made a pledge to donate one dollar for every mile I run . . . so at the end of this journey, I will donate a total of $500 to commemorate my running. I'm really excited that the total is growing!
Along the path I have run, several folks have joined in to make a difference in the lives of kids who have lost a loved one to death. Two of those folks I met on Twitter! I mentioned them in my last post on this blog. Sandy Fowler and her husband Tom have graciously partnered with my to raise funds for the Journey of Hope and the One in a Million Campaign by creating a "Partner Page" associated with their DIYRunning site! They are donating a full 25% of the proceeds that are generated from the purchase of training audios designed to help runners of all levels and abilities run better! Simply Amazing!
They are two of the coolest folks I know! I encourage you to visit this unique partner site at http://bit.ly/37l5pc

or you can register online at http://tinyurl.com/n9xdjk . All proceeds benefit Journey of Hope Grief Support Center.
If you are unable to participate in the walk itself, won't you consider sponsoring a walker or simply making a donation in honor of Warren? The children and families of the Journey of Hope will be touched by your generosity!
Thanks for reading and keeping up with all the steps being taken for the Journey of Hope!
Until next time . . . Peace!
